When Mary discovered a like minded Anthropology fabric lampshade for $600, she desired to recreate her own.
The stripes were layed out using painter's tape on oatmeal coloured felted wool, then painted.
The works was then blanket stitched together. The outcome truly looks as if the shade were made from a wool blanket! Coolest lampshade ever.
