Deb indeed created her own chalkboard paint adding plaster of paris to her red paint. But she took things a step further and created a darkened edge around the entire board. What an outstanding 3D touch!
As an artist, I'm all about those additional touches that make a project pop just that much more. And this detail certainly does it for me.
