I'm truly of the mindset that a shutter is a waste of a shutter if you just use it as a shutter. This gorgeous shelf idea is a total eye catcher and ultra productive too!
All you need to add are a couple of shelf brackets (you could even make yourself!) and a small shelf board. I can even vision hooks along the bottom of this for coats or towels or such. Love this and I hope you don't mind that I plan to borrow this one, Denise...
And then there's the shutter mail sorter AND key hanger. Absolutely genius! Don't you love the little wire flower embellishments as well? Coat the entire thing in a like minded paint treatment and it looks like a fab find at HomeGoods. Only better. This one's authentic!
