When I first glanced at this project, I thought it was a pretty vintage decoration. Upon closer inspection, I was floored that it was actually a crystal salt and pepper shaker Christmas ornament!
Carlene had this cute little salt and pepper shaker set, complete with it's own silver tray for nearly a year parked in a consignment shop. It didn't sell, so home it came.
How she put this idea together I have no idea, but it's brilliant. Holes were drilled, a crystal prism and ribbon attached, and then the salt and pepper shakers were next. Carlene describes how she put it all together in her post. (link below)
What a clever, sweet project that resembles an icy winter wonderland! And all it took was a lonely little salt and pepper shaker that refused to sell. It's my guess they'll be selling like hotcakes now!
